However, if you don't let the lack of aesthetics get in your way, you'll find Rico's to be an excellent place for a Mexican meal. Everything is home made to extremely high standards, using quality ingredients. The kitchen is clean, and the service is warm and welcoming.
To say that Rico's decor is basic would be an overstatement. Its tables and chairs are mix-match, and the whole place looks thrown-together in a hurry.
Fantastic food . Try the Chile rellenos !!! Also great salsa and all you can eat enciladas on Wednesday nights!!!

Kitchen isn't clean, place is a mess, food is decent, our waiter was terrible, the boy couldn't be over 12 years old which is a major violation of child labor laws in texas, there was children running around hiding under tables, while customers were trying to eat, they were in and out of the kitchen, which is a serious health code violation and the owners were very rude to the waitress who seemed to be the only one doing her job as best she could, poor girl. This place looks nice, but looks are deceiving, would NOT recommend anyone waste their time or money in this place. If you wont take my opinion, than please take my advice as a former executive chef. This place could be a whole lot better.... unfortunately I couldn't give it zero stars.
